Alaska offers anglers endless possibilities!Out of the port of Valdez, there are plenty of opportunities to go deep sea fishing for halibut, salmon and cod in the "icy waters" of the Prince William Sound.During season (June-July), fishing for salmon in the streams and rivers near Valdez (Solomon Gulch) is very popular, not only for anglers, but also for bears ...A fishing license is required!Fishing and the fish processing industry is also one of the most important economic activities in Alaska.
