Alaska National Parks

Alaska National Parks

With its 8 national parks, approximately 13% of the total area of Alaska is under the control of the American National Park System. There are many ways to visit and explore the National Parks. Note that some areas in the parks are hardly accessible at all or only with difficulty, but that only increases the challenge to explore them by land, water or bush plane. Good preparation is essential! We explored 4 National Parks. Each of them in turn was an unforgettable experience!
